In the Matter of: FEES FOR APPLICANTS FOR ADMISSION TO THE PRACTICE OF LAW RE: CHARACTER AND FITNESS, EXAMINATIONS, AND ADMISSION

Administrative Order No. 2009-51Supreme Court of Arizona.
June 3, 2009.

Replacing in Part Administrative Order No. 2004-55.

RUTH V. McGREGOR Chief Justice.

On July 21, 2004, by Administrative Order No. 2004-55, the Court approved a new schedule of fees and filing deadlines for applicants for admission to the practice of law in Arizona. This fee schedule included a graduated schedule for the Administrative Fee, with the fee set at $120.00 for applicants admitted to the practice of law in Arizona for the period of July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009. The schedule established filing deadlines for each admission examination from February 2005 through July 2009. Amendments to this schedule are needed to specify that the current Administrative Fee of $120 shall remain in effect for applicants admitted from and after July 1, 2009 and to establish the filing deadlines for the February 2010 admissions examination.

Now, therefore, pursuant to Rules 31 through 38 of the Arizona Rules of the Supreme Court, and Article VI, Section 3, of the Arizona Constitution,

IT IS ORDERED that the Schedule of Fees and Filing Deadlines in “Attachment A” is hereby

adopted and effective as of July 1, 2009, replacing the Schedule of Fees and Filing Deadlines established by Administrative Order No. 2004-55. All other provisions of Administrative Order No. 2004-55 shall remain in effect.
